Cookie Notice

What simorg.tech and the Logos application store in your browser, why, for how long, and how to change your choice about the part that waits for your consent.
1. What this notice covers
This notice covers everything simorg.tech and the Logos application, which share one address, store in your browser: cookies, and the browser’s local and session storage, which the law treats the same way. Section 205 of the Finnish Act on Electronic Communications Services allows us to store what is strictly necessary for a service you asked for without asking, and requires your consent for anything else.
Simorg Desktop and the machine service store their files on your computer rather than in a browser; the Desktop and Machine Service privacy notice lists them.
2. Essential storage
These are stored without asking, because the site and the product do not work without them. None of them is used to track you.

3. Analytics and error reports
These are stored only after you choose Allow analytics, and are removed the moment you change your choice. They are the identifiers that product analytics and error reports are attached to; the Privacy Policy’s section on product analytics describes what those records hold and what they never hold.

4. Content from other companies
An artifact page may embed a video from YouTube. Videos are embedded in privacy-enhanced mode, and YouTube sets nothing and learns nothing until you press play; once you do, YouTube’s own notice applies. Nothing else on simorg.tech loads from another company’s servers.
5. What we do not use
No advertising cookies, no cross-site tracking, no third-party analytics service, no social-media pixels, no fingerprinting for advertising, and no sharing of anything stored in your browser with anybody.
6. Your choices
On your first visit a dialog asks you to choose. Essential only and Allow analytics are equally easy to press, and neither is chosen for you. You can change your choice at any time from Cookie settings in the site footer, or, inside the product, under Settings → Privacy → Analytics. Changing it takes effect immediately: the identifiers in section 3 are removed and nothing further is recorded. We ask again after twelve months, and whenever this notice changes in a way that matters.
Your browser can also block or delete stored data for any site. Blocking the essential items in section 2 will stop you signing in.
7. Changes to this notice
When this notice changes, the edition number and date at the top change too, and the dialog asks for your choice again if the change affects it. Questions go to info@simorg.tech.
